Bhubaneswar, June 30: Senior IAS officer Manoj Ahuja assumed charge as Chief Secretary of Odisha on Sunday.
A 1990 batch IAS officer, Ahuja took charge as Odisha Chief Secretary at Lok Seva Bhawan from outgoing Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena in the afternoon.
After being named as Odisha Chief Secretary by the newly formed BJP government in the state, Ahuja arrived in Bhubaneswar in the morning to join his new office.
Ahuja also assumed the charge as Secretary of the General Administration Department of the state.
