Jagatsinghpur, Sep 16: A man has gone missing in the Mahanadi River after being carried away by the floodwater in Jagatsinghpur on Wednesday. The incident took place at Thanagada village under the Tirtol police limit in the morning. The missing person has been identified as Umesh Mahanta, a driver who is a native of Bihar. Sources said Umesh was going to a kiln factory near the Mahanadi. Meanwhile, he was swept away in the floodwater and he went missing. {"id":136575,"sizeSlug":"full","linkDestination":"none"} Being informed, the firefighters initiated a search operation but found no clue regarding Mahanta. Following this, ODRAF has taken up the search operation on Thursday. However, the team has not got any clue regarding him so far.
