Keonjhar, Dec 28: A man has allegedly thrashed his wife to death in Keonjhar district on Monday night. The incident occurred in Thakurpatna area under Keonjhar town police limits. The deceased has been identified as Rashmi Munda. The police have detained accused Diku Munda. According to sources, Diku had a quarrel with his wife after the latter came home being drunk. Subsequently, he started thrashing his wife and eventually beat her to death. The police, after getting informed about the crime, reached the spot and took the accused to custody. The police have started an investigation into the matter and at the same time detained the accused for interrogation. The police also informed that a forensic team will also be included in the investigation, if needed.
