Bhubaneswar, Oct 20: In a shocking incident, a man allegedly stripped and molested the owner of a pet dog in broad daylight on Thursday. The incident took place in Surya Nagar area under Capital Police limits over the dog's constant barking.
The victim, a 23-year-old woman has lodged a formal complaint with the Capital Police Station, urging the police to arrest the accused involved in the crime at the earliest.
In her complaint the victim alleged that "Chandan Nayak and his father Tuna began causing a disturbance outside our residence during the afternoon. When I approached to inquire, Chandan began using offensive language and demanded that I silence our pet dog. When I explained that it was not feasible, Chandan forcibly pulled me onto the road, disrobed me ant tried to outrage my modesty. He was also helped by his father.” She further alleged that Chandan also pierced the animal’s private parts with an iron rod.
Police said that they have started an investigation after registering a case.
