Mamita murder case: BJP’s massive rally over resignation of Minister Dibya Shankar Mishra

Bhubaneswar, Dec 9: Odisha BJP workers on Thursday turned the heat on the police while taking out a massive party rally in Bhubaneswar demanding CBI probe and sacking of Minister Dibya Shankar Mishra in connection with Mamita Meher murder. Seeking justice for the family of murdered Kalahandi lady teacher Mamita Meher, the BJP workers took out a protest march to gherao the Odisha Assembly and then staged a protest at the lower PMG road. Later, they were engaged in a scuffle with the police here. Earlier, the opposition parties BJP and Congress had conducted several protests across the state seeking justice for Mamita Meher’s family. Mamita Meher, a teacher of Sunshine English Medium School in Mahaling of Kalahandi district, was allegedly murdered by Govind Sahu. The prime accused Govind Sahu was arrested in this connection.
