Bhawanipatna/Balangir, Nov 6: Mamita Meher’s family members appealed to stop the character assassination of their ward, on Saturday. Appearing before media personnel, Mamita’s elder father and father expressed discontent over the rumours spread regarding their daughter’s murder case. Mamita’s elder father said the family and relatives are in mental agony due to the death of Mamita. At the same time, some people and a section of media houses air false assumptions over the incident. Similarly, Mamita’s father said, “We have full faith in the police and Chief Minister that they will provide justice to our family”. Mamita had never been to Raipur with the accused Govind Sahu. However, it is being carried by some media houses and political parties, which should be stopped, he added.
