Malkangiri, Nov 18: In a tragic incident, a woman died out of shock one hour after the sudden demise of her husband. The incident has been reported from Balimela of Malkangiri district.
The deceased couple has been identified as Hari Kuldeep and his wife Kamala Kuldeep.
According to the information, Hari, a daily labourer was admitted in hospital after complaining chest pain today. However, doctors declared him dead due to a heart attack. Kamala was completely devastated after the sudden death of husband and went into shock by falling unconscious.
She was rushed to Balimela Health Centre where doctors also declared her dead.
The villagers and the family members cremated the bodies together in the presence of the three orphan children of the couple.
In a similar incident, a woman identified as Anindita Subudhi died by suicide at her house in Benagadia village in Khurdha district, hours after the demise of husband in a road accident.
