Cuttack, April 16: The quintuple murder committed at Kusupur village under the Mahanga police limit is taking a new turn almost every day. The accused Shiba Prasad has confessed that he committed the crime single-handed. However, the relatives of the deceased, Alekh Sahu alleged that Shiba’s wife was aware of the ill intention of her husband before a few days. Alekh’s brother-in-law, Dilip Prusty said, Shiba’s wife had also ill will with Alekh’s family. She was noticed regarding the sharpening of a chopper by her husband, before the incident. Thus, she could have either refrained Shiba from doing the sin or warned Alekh’s family regarding any untoward situation, caused by her husband. Similarly, another relative, Lata Sahu demanded to bring Shiba’s wife into the ambit of investigation and award a death sentence to the accused, Shiba Prasad Sahu.
