Maha Shivaratri: Twin city commissionerate police issues traffic advisory

Bhubaneswar: The Twin City Commissionerate Police issued a traffic advisory for hassle-free traffic arrangement during Maha Shivratri at the Lingaraj Temple in the capital city. This advisory was issued keeping in view the large congregation of thousands of devotees here on March 1. In view of the above, the following advisory has been in the larger interest of public safety, convenience, and smooth flow of traffic: 1. The vehicle coining to Lingraj Temple on Rath road and Punama gate side shall be diverted from Badheibanka square (Muna Medical store) towards BM High school ground for parking. 2. Vehicles coming to Lingaraj Temple from Kedar Gouri Temple side may avail the Koti tirtha lane and park their vehicles at BMC new market complex parking/Ananata Basudev temple parking. Vehicular movement through Koti tirtha lane will be made one way for this purpose from Sidhi Mandap Lane side. 3. The vehicle coming on Vivekananda Marg/Sanitorium square side towards Lingraj Temple shall be diverted at Kachara Pindi on Kedar Gouri temple road towards BMC market complex/Ananta Basudev parking via Koti Tirtha lane. 4. The vehicles coming from Garage Chhak as well as Samanatrapur side via Sri Ram Nagar towards Lingaraj Temple shall be diverted to BMC market complex parldng/Ananata Basudev temple parking from sub-station square. 5. The vehicles coming from Keuta Sahi side towards Lingraj Temple shall be diverted from Kedar lane to BMC market cornplex/Ananta Basudev parking via sub-station square.
