Mumbai, July 16: Energetic track ‘Maar Muntha Chod Chinta’ from the upcoming Ram Pothineni-starrer ‘Double ISMART’ was unveiled on Tuesday.
This number, infused with traditional South Indian folk elements, promises to be a standout hit. Featuring heavy percussion and the vibrant sounds of the nadaswaram, the song creates a thumping vibe perfect for a dance number.
Ram Pothineni and Kavya Thapar are seen showcasing epic dance moves in the music video, which are expected to go viral online. The song, sung by Nakash Aziz and Bhoomi Trivedi, has catchy lyrics penned by Raqueeb Alam.
Ram Pothineni expressed his excitement about the song, saying, “It’s a fun dance number composed by Manisharma sir. I was quite excited about making a song using ‘Maar Muntha Chod Chinta’ when Puri sir shared this thought, as it was from a very popular line from ‘iSmart Shankar.’ It’s a peppy dance number and a perfect theatrical song for the audiences to vibe with the energy of the song on the big screen.”
‘Double ISMART,’ directed by Puri Jagannadh, is the sequel to the blockbuster ‘iSmart Shankar.’ The film also features Sanjay Dutt as the antagonist. Produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmee Kaur under the Puri Connects banner, ‘Double ISMART’ is set for release on August 15, 2024, in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages.
