Jajpur, Feb 26: Maa Biraja shakti peetha in Jajpur district is going to get a new look soon as the state government is all set to beautify the temple and its campus like other heritage sites of the state. The state government has taken up a lucrative project to gloss Maa’s temple, encircling 54 Shiva temples, Muktimandap, Dolamandap, Anandbazzar and other spiritual basements in and around the temple premises. Department of Culture has sanctioned a primary allocation of Rs. 6.5 crore for initiation of basic developments of the temple. This fund will be utilized for temple administration building along with renovation of Muktimandap, Molamandap, Bhog shops with modern amenities for the visitors. Meanwhile, the temple administration has submitted the blue print of the upcoming temple with mock demo to the district administration. On the other hand, detailed project report (DPR) has been finalized and approved by the government. The project work will begin as soon as possible, said an official of the temple administration.
