Bhubaneswar, May 3: With the crucial Lok Sabha and Odisha Assembly polls round the corner, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is leaving no stones unturned in campaigning and wooing the voters.
Three heavyweights of the saffron party are scheduled to hit the campaign trail in the next three days.
Firstly, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar will visit the state tomorrow (May 4). This was informed by State BJP vice-president Golak Mohapatra on Friday.
During his two-day visit, a series of programs have been planned for Jaishankar in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Sambalpur. Tomorrow, the Union Minister is scheduled to meet intellectuals and editors of various media houses in Bhubaneswar with similar events in Cuttack in the pipeline the next day.
BJP National President JP Nadda is also scheduled to visit the state on May 5 and meet party leaders in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, added Mohapatra.
Similarly, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also visit the state on May 6.
Notably, the Lok Sabha and Assembly polls in Odisha will be held simultaneously in four phases -- May 13, 20, 25, and June 1. The counting of votes will be done on June 4.
