Bhubaneswar, May 1: Ahead of the Lok Sabha and Odisha Assembly polls, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit the state on May 6 for campaign.
As per the schedule, PM Modi will address a public rally in Nabarangpur and garner support for BJP candidates of Nabarangpur, Berhampur, Koraput, and Kalahandi Lok Sabha seats, and the 21 Assembly constituencies under them which will go to polls on May 13.
He is also scheduled to hold a road show in Nabarangpur with the party’s MLA and MP candidates.
It is worth mentioning that PM Modi, a few days back, had said that the BJP has no truck with the BJD in Odisha.
Speaking on the BJP's relationship with BJD in Odisha during an interview with a news channel, PM Modi had said, "The BJD has given support to us at the Centre on the basis of issues. There are many other parties who have provided us issue-based support too."

Notably, BJP President JP Nadda had campaigned for party’s candidates in Odisha’s Berhampur on April 28.
The Lok Sabha and Assembly polls in Odisha will be held simultaneously in four phases -- May 13, 20, 25, and June 1. The counting of votes will be done on June 4.
