Bhubaneswar: Pradesh Congress Committee president Niranjan Patnaik on Friday reportedly said that former Koraput MLA Krushna Chandra Sagaria will not be given a party ticket to fight Assembly election this year.
In response to a media query, Patnaik said Sagaria would not be given ticket this time in view of his attitude towards the party. However, the part would consider giving ticket only when he changes his behaviour, according to reports.
It may be noted that Sagaria had shunned a PCC post and resigned from MLA post about two months back. Thereafter, he has demanded that a person belonging to SC, ST, OBC and Minorities Community be declared as CM candidate by political parties, including the Congress, and talked against two Patnaik families ruling the State for the last 40 years.
