Khurda Road Division bags overall efficiency shield at 66th Annual Award ceremony

Bhubaneswar, Oct 6: East Coast Railway (ECoR) has observed the 66th Annual Award ceremony at Railway Auditoriumadhering to Covid protocols. Vidya Bhushan, General Manager, ECoR was the Chief Guest in the occasion. Addressing the gathering, the General Manager complimented for the determination and devotion of railwaymen for their duties with a progressive attitude and for their valuable contribution. He also appealed the railwaymen to continue their efforts and make ECoR best zone again in Indian Railways. Merit awards and shields were handed over to various officers and staff for outstanding performance. Khurda Road Division received the overall efficiency shield for overall performance in different fields. Berhamapur station received the best major clean station shield and Handapa station received the best minor clean station shield. Various group awards and individual awards were handed over to various meritorious employees and departmental units. Khurda Road Division bagged civil engineering, operations and commercial efficiency shields. Waltair Division bagged finance, best coaching depot and personnel efficiency shields. Similarly, Sambalpur Division received energy management and mechanical efficiency shields.
