Kerala Muslim woman Jasna Saleem has painted over 500 portraits of Lord Krishna

Kozhikode, Oct 2: Jasna Saleem, a Muslim woman from Kozhikode district of Kerala has been painting portraits of Lord Krishna for the last six years. Hailing from Koyilandy town she has painted over 500 paintings of Lord Krishna. {"id":139853,"width":844,"height":675,"sizeSlug":"full","linkDestination":"none"} "I've been painting Krishna's portraits for 6 years now. Before that, I've not drawn anything in my life. But it feels as Krishna's image is imprinted in my mind for years," said Jasna. {"id":139854,"width":840,"height":672,"sizeSlug":"full","linkDestination":"none"} Last week I got a chance to unveil one of my Krishna paintings in Ulayanad Sreekrishna temple and it was for the first time in my life that I went inside a temple and saw the idol, Jasna added.
