Mumbai, Aug 2: Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan has wrapped up shooting for his upcoming film 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3', which is directed by Anees Bazmee.
The actor, who recently garnered praise for his sports drama ‘Chandu Champion’, shared a video on Instagram on Thursday, featuring Bazmee playfully scolding the film's unit as Kartik announces the wrap-up on the monitor.
Anees then approaches Kartik, giving him a hug before they celebrate the completion of the shoot with a cake-cutting ceremony.
Reflecting the director's playful tone, Kartik captioned the post, "'Arey pagalo' It's a wrap for #BhoolBhulaiyaa3. The doors of the haveli are ready to open once again. See you this Diwali."
'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' is the latest installment in the popular horror-comedy franchise 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa', which is a Hindi remake of the Malayalam film ‘Manichitrathazhu’ directed by Fazil, father of Malayalam superstar Fahadh Fazil. Kartik took over the lead role from Akshay Kumar in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, playing the character Rooh Baba.
In 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2', Kartik starred opposite Kiara Advani. For the third installment, he will be seen alongside ‘Animal’ star Triptii Dimri. The film also features Bollywood legends Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit. Produced by T-Series Films and Cine1 Studios, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ is set to release during Diwali.
