Cuttack, March 13: In a step towards strengthening industrial infrastructure in Odisha, Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (IDCO) Chairperson Usha Padhee visited Kuspangi and Bali villages under Athagarh Tahsil in Cuttack district to review and finalise plans for the development of proposed industrial parks in the region.

Padhee, along with the Cuttack Collector Dattatraya Bhausaheb Shinde and senior officials from IDCO and the district administration visited identified land parcels. The team reviewed key aspects such as land availability, connectivity, and the provision of essential infrastructure including power, water supply, and road access required for the proposed industrial parks.

During field visit, it was emphasised that the development of well-planned industrial parks is central to the state’s strategy of promoting investment, strengthening industrial ecosystems, and ensuring balanced regional development. It was also noted that the proposed parks at Kuspangi have strong potential to attract new industries and create employment opportunities for local youth.

Padhee stressed the importance of close coordination between IDCO and the district administration to expedite planning and facilitate timely development of the project.
