Puri, Sep 3: Jagannath temple in Puri will remain closed for the public darshan on Monday (4.9.2023) for due to Rahurekha Niti (ritual). The temple will be closed from 3 pm to 8 pm tomorrow.
No devotees will be allowed to enter the temple during the period, said temple administration sources.
Noteworthy, Rahurekha ritual is observed to remove the Rahurekha (bad luck) from Lord Jagannath as he suffered fever in Snana Purnia, where water from 108 pots was poured on him.
The Rahurekha ritual will be observed during the time by the servitors.
