ITBP Jawan warms up on knee-deep ice below minus 30 Degree Celsius

New Delhi, Feb 23: Video featuring a 55-year old Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Commandant’s push-ups in snow-covered mountains has gone viral on social media. In the video, ITBP Commandant, Ratan Singh Sonal counts 65 push-ups at one go in just 1 minute and 12 seconds. Spectacularly, Singh completed the push-up exercises within a few minutes in order to accumulate warmth in a bone-chilling minus 30 Degree Celsius temperature at around 17,500 feet height on the Indo-Tibetan border. The ITBP officials shared the post on Twitter and wrote, ‘Push-ups at icy heights…’. The video left netizens in awe and social media users hailed the jawan for his feat in extreme weather. ITBP takes to social media platforms to share posts to give people a glimpse into the lives of their personnel.
