IPS Arun Kumar Ray to remain in additional charge as DG of Fire Services

Bhubaneswar, Dec 1: Senior IPS officer Arun Kumar Ray has been given additional charge of DG Fire Services, Commandant General, Home Guards and Director Civil Defence of Odisha in addition to his own duties. IPS officer Arun Kumar Ray is presently serving as the Special DG of Police. IPS officer M Akhaya, who was holding the post of DG Fire Services Commandant General, Home Guards and Director Civil Defence, retired on Tuesday. A notice by the Home Department of Government of Odisha stated “Shri Arun Kumar Ray, IPS(RR-1988) Special D.G. of Police, Communication, Odisha is allowed to remain in an additional charge of D.G, Fire Services, Commandant General, Home Guards and Director Civil Defence, Odisha, Cuttack in addition to his own duties.”
