Bhubaneswar, Feb 11: Investors have staged a protest before Railway Employee’s Co-operative Society at Rail Vihar in Bhubaneswar on Friday credit of their dividends. As many as 250 members from the East-Coast, South East Central Railway, and South-Eastern railway carried a protest before the Urban Bank, demanding pending dividends since 2015. Sources said the members of the Co-operative Society have been sharing their premiums in the Urban Bank located at the Rail Vihar in the Chandrasekharpur area for higher dividends. However, the bank has not credited the dividends to the eligible investors despite a sizeable capital worth around 95 crores having been treasured with the bank so far. Acting on the protest, the Brach Manager has assured the beneficiaries to pay the pending dividends to the members after the society election.
