Indian Coast Guard bids adieu to patrol vehicle Razia Sultana after 21 years

Paradip, June 3: Indian Coast Guard, Odisha wing bade adieu to the premiere patrol vehicle Razia Sultana at Paradip port complex on Tuesday. Amid a formal military ceremony, the ship has been eliminated from the service after 21 years of guard and vigil in the Indian sea routes. DIG Coast Guard Odisha, SD Vannot offered the ultimate see off honour to the ship while the crew members performed the traditional passing out ceremony. Commanding officer Vishal Verma presented the concluding status report of the ship. Razia Sultana dedicated its services in Odisha as one of  the Fast Patrol Vessel of the Coast Guard. Specifically, it was the fourth version of Razia Sultana series to be deployed in Indian Coastguard Service(ICGS) for 21 years.
