New Delhi, May 18: India logged 1,829 fresh daily Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, informed the Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare on Wednesday.

According to the Union Health Ministry’s data, the active cases in the country currently stand at 15,647. Active cases presently constitute 0.04% of the country’s total positive cases.

The weekly positivity rate stands at 0.57% while the daily positivity rate is reported to be 0.42%.

Meanwhile, the total recoveries reached 4,25,87,259 in India yesterday after a total of 2,549 people recovered from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. India’s recovery rate currently stands at 98.75%.
