IMD issues rain and lightning alert for these districts of Odisha for next 3 hours

Bhubaneswar, Oct 14: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued rain and lightning alert for 12 districts of Odisha for the next three hours. Light to moderate rain /thundershower with lightning likely to affect some parts of district of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Balasore, Cuttack, (including Cuttack City), Jagatsinghpur ,Kendrapara, Khordha (including Bhubaneswar),Puri, Ganjam and Gajapati within next three hours, the regional meteorological centre said this morning. People are advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect from lightning strike.
