Boudh, May 9: Model Police Boudh on Thursday busted a highway looter gang which was on the prowl in the district.
As many as 10 members of the gang including 7 minor boys were nabbed by the police late at night on Wednesday.
Police sources said, the gang was rampantly looting cash and valuables from the commuters on NH. Spying on the gang frantically,a team of the model police apprehended as many as 10 members of the gang. A number of arms and ammunitions were recovered from their possession.
Further investigation is underway to apprehend the kingpin. The accused have been sent to judicial custody after interrogation and confrontation, said the police.
