Mumbai, July 17: Ravi Kishan turned 52 today and is the greatest names in Bhojpuri cinema and now he has even ventured into politics through BJP. Being a senior artist, he is also counted as one of the highest-paid stars of the Bhojpuri industry too. Ravi Kishan has acted in films like ‘Pandit Ji Batai Na Biyah Kab hoi’, ‘Gabbar Singh’, ‘Ram Balram’, ‘Devra Bada Satawela’, ‘Bairi Kangana 2’ and ‘Sanki Daroga’. Right from big budget films to small ones, he has done many roles in Hindi and Telugu movies too. Ravi Kishan started his political career in 2014 by joining the Congress party to contest the 2014 General Elections. In 2017, he has joined the BJP. As luck would have it, Ravi ended up winning the 2019 General Elections and is now a Lok Sabha MP from Gorakhpur. The most recent instance that’s made Ravi Kishan the talk of the town, especially in B-Town, is his comments on the impact of narcotics in Bollywood, when he raised the issue of the Hindi film’s industry’s alleged links with drug cartel in Lok Sabha. Amid the mass migration of migrant workers due to the coronavirus lockdown, a video of Ravi Kishan went viral which was used by people to call him anti-poor and anti-labourer.
