Group clash between transgenders: Five hospitalized in Bhadrak

Bhadrak. July 3: At least five transgenders have been hospitalized in Bhadrak town following a group clash late night on Saturday. Four transgenders have been detained in this connection while the other accused have remained absconded after the incident. Sources said that an oral spat broke out in the evening between two groups of transgenders who were residing in a private hotel in the Bhadrak town. It turned into a violent face-off after the intervention of a third group. Meanwhile, they attacked each other barging into the hotel.As a result, scores of them sustained critical injuries. {"id":194861,"sizeSlug":"full","linkDestination":"none"} Being informed, Bhadrak Town police rushed the spot and managed to admit the critical ones in the district headquarters hospital. However, they were shifted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital as their health conditions were reportedly worsened. Following this, armed police forces have been deployed on the spot to tackle untoward situations.
