Bhubaneswar, June 6: With the process of General Election in Odisha concluded with announcement of result, Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Nikunja Bihari Dhal on Thursday presented the gazette notification to the Governor regarding constitution of the new Assembly.
Dhal accompanied by representatives of the Election Commission of India (ECI) and other senior officials, handed over the ECI’s gazette notification with the particulars of the candidates and election result to Odisha Governor Raghubar Das.
The Governor congratulated the ECI and CEO team and lauded their strenuous exercise for conducting free & fair election.
