Ganjam, Jan 30: A student of the Khallikote area in Ganjam has secured three different mark sheets in his High School Certificate Examination (HSC) due to the faulty evaluation of the Board of Secondary Education Odisha (BSEO) authorities. It came to the fore after a student of the Khallikote Sishu-Vidya Mandir named Purnedu Sahu secured 93.5 percent mark after he applied for revision of his marks. Sources said Purnendu had secured 84.5 percent mark according to the alternative evaluation. Having discontent over it, Purnendu appeared the offline Matriculation Examination and secured 90.5 mark in it. However, he duly applied for rechecking once again, aspiring more marks, as he is a meritorious student. Acting on it, the BSEO authorities re-evaluated and issued a revised mark sheet which revealed that Purnendu secured 93.5 percent. According to the final mark sheet, Purnendu has been the Khallikote block topper and deserved the Chief Minister’s Scholarship and Language Scholarship. Purnendu’s father, Sudhanshu Sekhar Sahu has expressed pleasure over the achievements of his ward.
