Berhampur, April 9: Ganjam district administration has decided to install CCTVs at each entry point to the district to prevent movement of people during lockdown. Besides the administration has also decided to start magistrate checking at these points to ensure that residents adhere to the lockdown regulations. The district administration has earlier urged the residents not to visit market places with motorcycles and has also warned to seize the vehicles of the violators. “Despite several initiatives, residents can be spotted driving their vehicles defying the lockdown regulations. As thousands of migrants hail from the district, CCTV surveillance will also keep a watch on people trying to enter the district,” said an official.
