Fraudster detained for duping on pretext of providing jobs

Bhubaneswar, April 21: Chandrasekharpur police has detained a fraudster on Wednesday for duping money from educated youths on pretext of job. The detainee has been identified as Niranjan Sahu. Police said that he impersonated himself as a commando of an elite force and collected money from around 30 youths assuring them job in a private college. The victims, however, came to know about the fraud after Niranjan failed to fulfill his promise. The duped youths somehow managed to nab him and later handed over him to the Chandrasekharpur police station. Police said that Niranjan is being further interrogated to verify the allegations levelled against him.
