Follow Odisha in oxygen management for Covid care: Delhi HC

Bhubaneswar, April 21: The Delhi High Court directed the Centre to follow Odisha as a role model regarding Covid Care. A division bench comprising Justice Vipin Sanghi and Rekha Palli directed the Health Ministry to follow the principle adopted by Odisha Government on Oxygen management ahead of resurgence of Covid-19. In addition, the order said, Odisha is the only state to fulfil the need of Oxygen for its patients. It also supplies surplus Oxygen to the needy states amid the pandemic. At the same time, the Centre has asked the industrial establishments to stop industrial use of Oxygen since April 22. Concerned over it, the HC bench has asked the Centre to ensure optimum use of Oxygen in the Steel and Petroleum sectors till the pandemic subsides.
