Florona scare in Israel: One case detected

New Delhi, Jan 2: Amid the rapid spread of the new Omicron variant across the world, another disease seems to be knocking on our doors which has got the symptoms of Corona and Influenza, called Florona. The government of Israel has beefed up  Corona containments measures after the first case of 'Florona' was detected on Friday. According to the reports of   Israeli media reports, one case of Covid-19 has been confirming the case of Florona since the patient has had double infections, Coronavirus and the virus of highly contaminable influenza. As per reports, the rarest patient has been identified as a woman with an obstetrics-related problem. She was admitted to a hospital for delivery. However, she was diagnosed to have Corona and later with the  'Florona'. Notably, the woman was not vaccinated and came in with certain symptoms that resembled Covid. According to the health experts, 'Florona' is a double infection of COVID-19 and influenza mixed together. It happens when the human body gets infected by flu and COVID-19 at the same time. It also suggests a lapse of immunity in the human body that is attacked by two viruses simultaneously.  Meanwhile, Israeli scientists are still studying the sample of 'Florona' to extract further details to ascertain it as an effect of Flu virus or another mutant of Coronavirus.
