Fire Park in Odisha receives its first batch of visitors

Bhubaneswar, Jan 9: The Fire Park of Odisha Fire Service received its first batch of visitors on Saturday. Around 60 visitors of different age group visited the park inside the premises of the Odisha Fire and Disaster Response Academy. The visitors witnessed demonstrations on different fire fighting and rescue skills. Basic education on dealing with common house fire and First aid in case of fire injuries were part of the program. The visitors also gave positive feedback on their experiences. {"id":90552,"sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"none"} The park was inaugurated by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday. The park is a novel initiative in the entire country to bring awareness on fire safety measuresand will be opened to public on every Saturday from 3.30 PM to 5.30 PM. Demonstrations on use of first aid, fire-fighting equipment, rescue & disaster operations, visit to exhibition hall, screening of films and distribution of leaflets on fire safety will be the part of the activities in the park.
