Exchange of fire between security forces, Naxals underway in Narayanpur

Malkangiri, July 3: An intermediate exchange of fire underway between security forces and Naxals at Chhatisgarh-Malkangiri border in Amdai Ghati irons ore mining area of Narayanpur on Saturday. Atleast six road construction vehicles were torched by the Naxals during the encounter.  Two operators of Nicoplant were killed while two civilian operators are reportedly missing, Narayanpur Superintendent of Police (SP) Mohit Garg informed. On being informed, the security forces reached the spot and exchange of fire is underway.
