Dengue cases on rise in Odisha’s Sundargarh

Rourkela, Sept 22: As many as 114 dengue positive cases have been detected in Sundergarh district in the last 24 hours. Of the total positive cases, maximum of 99 cases have been reported from Rourkela and 15 other from nearby areas. While, 37 of the 99 cases in Rourkela reportedly are non-residents. As many as 3788 cases were detected from 27, 759 samples till date in the state while 3,895 outbreaks were detected from 15,838 samples this time. While the positivity rate has decreased compared to last year, daily infections have also decreased.
