Delhi reports 17, 282 Covid-19 cases, its highest since the pandemic outbreak

New Delhi: Amid the resurgence of second wave of Covid-19, the country’s capital reported 17,282 fresh cases of coronavirus along with 104 deaths in last 24 hours, its highest single day spike since the pandemic outbreak. With this, Delhi’s total number of cases rose to 7,67,438 while the death toll went up to 11,540. The city is reporting over 10, 000 cases over three days following which Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had announced a series of restrictions earlier expressing concern over the galloping cases.
