Decomposed body of youth and girl recovered from jungle in Ganjam

Bhanjanagar, Feb 25: Decomposed bodies of a youth and a girl were recovered from the Budhakendu jungle under Gangapur police limits in Ganjam district today. However, the identities of the deceased are yet to be established. According to the police, when some locals were going for work, they spotted decomposed body of a girl hanging from a tree inside Budhakendu jungle. On reaching the spot, they found a youth’s decomposed body was lying near the girl’s body and informed the Gangapur police subsequently. On being informed, the police reached the spot and sent the bodies for post-mortem. “The identities have not been established as the bodies are partially burnt in a jungle fire and it is suspected that it’s a double murder case over alleged love affair,” said the investigating officer.
