Bargarh, June 24: Paikamal police of Barharh district on Monday seized cough syrup worth Rs 4 Lakh from a four wheeler and arrested two dealers in this connection.
Acting on a tip-off, police intercepted the four wheeler during patrolling near Paikamal-Padampur road and seized the 1349 cough syrup bottles packed in 9 cartoons.
The police also arrested the accused identified as Dinesh Sahu of Goibahal village and Jogeswar Pradhan of word no- 13 of the same district.
Further investigation is on in this regard.
