Bhubaneswar, March 23: Commissionerate police has decided to act tough on people roaming in the city in vehicles without any emergency during the lockdown. Police Commissioner, Sudhanshu Sarangi said that they will be forced to arrest violators during the lockdown. “People hesitated to move out on Sunday during the ‘Janta Curfew’. But once it was over we found many of the residents roaming on roads without any work today. We have already sensitised people and in this scenario we will be forced to arrest the violators,” said Sarangi. Police also advised residents to collect passes from concerned police stations in case of emergency. “People working in emergency sectors need to obtain passes for their passes vehicles. Residents can collect passes till Tuesday evening,” said a police official.
