Bhadrak: A Plus-II first year student of Atal Bihari College in Basudevpur area in Bhadrak district was found hanging inside her room in the mess today.

The deceased was identified was identified as Supriya Mohanty, daughter of Narahari Mohanty of Dhamara area in the district.

According to reports, she committed suicide by hanging herself using her dupatta. Nobody was present in the room when she took the extreme step.

The reason of death has not yet been known. On being informed, police reached the spot started investigation.
