Cold wave returns, IMD issues yellow warning for these Odisha districts

Bhubaneswar, Jan 31: Cold wave condition very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Balangir, Sonepur, Boudh and Angul during the next 24 hours, the regional met centre said on Sunday. Shallow to moderate fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Kendrapara, Kalahandi, Koraput, Malkangiri, Ganjam, Gajapati, Kandhamal, it added. Dry weather most likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha, the weatherman said. It has advised to stay indoors and avoid movement during night and early morning to avoid prolonged exposure to cold. Keep livestock in shaded /indoor area, it added.
