Chittaranjan Palai death suspense: Crime Branch works out for substantial clues

Puri, Dec 18: The suspense shrouded over the death of Chittaranjan Palai, the security personnel assigned to the Vice-Chairman of State Planning Board, Sanjay Kumar Das Burma is yet to be unveiled. A Crime Branch team is working out on the case to unearth the mystery behind Palai’s death. Briefing on the development in investigation, Crime Branch, ADG Sanjeeb Panda said, the investigating team has found some clues regarding the case. As many as four aides of the Prime suspect , Jaga have been grilled by the Crime Branch team, so far. Apart from it, a woman and her daughter has been interrogated in this connection. Meanwhile, the Detail Call Records (CDR) of the deceased has been verified. Basing it, four persons have been detained. They will be again grilled individually and later to be quizzed after confrontation. Their polygraph test will be conducted if required, Panda added.
