Chief Minister Naveen reviews Gulab from New Delhi: Emphasizes to manage with zero casualty

New Delhi, Sep 26: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has reviewed cyclonic storm Gulab from New Delhi on Sunday. He has emphasized to work out on the disaster with no casualty across the state. Interacting with the state functionaries through a video conference from the Odisha Bhawan, Naveen said,saving lives during the disaster is the top priority. At the same time, the line department officials have been asked to undertake the pre-disaster and post-disaster rescue operations of the people in the susceptible coastal areas. Similarly, he directed the officials to ensure supply of essential commodities, provision of basic amenities for the infants, expected mothers, patients and senior citizens during the process of evacuation and rehabilitation. On the other hand, he laid stress on abiding by the SOP, Covid-19 protocols and Corona appropriate behaviours in the shelter-homes and rehabilitation centres during the whole process of disaster management.
