Bhubaneswar, Jan 12: The Covid-19 vaccine will be administered at five healthcare facilities in the capital city of Odisha. The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) Commissioner Prem Chandra Chaudhary on Tuesday said the vaccination drive will be launched at five healthcare facilities in the city – Capital Hospital, Community Health Centre (CHC) at Unit-4, BMC Hospital, Institute of Medical Sciences and SUM Hospital and Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) on Saturday (January 16). As many as 21,000 doctors, health care workers and staff have been shortlisted for vaccination, Chaudhary informed. Notably, the first consignment containing vials of Covishield vaccine dispatched from the Serum Institute in Pune reached Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar at 3.28 pm.
