Bhubaneswar: The State Cabinet today approved several proposals, including a tender of Rs 160 crore for construction of an inter-State bus terminal (ISBT) at Baramunda here. Central PSU Bridge & Roof Company India Ltd will develop the proposed modern facility.
The Cabinet which was chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at the Lok Seva Bhavan here also approved a proposal of allotting 2.478 acres of land for Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan free of premium and incidental charges for establishment of Zonal Institute of Education and Training at Bankaul under Bhubaneswar tehsil.
The Cabinet also gave its nod to proposal for a Food and Procurement Policy for Kharif marketing season (KMS) 2019-20 to procure 60 lakh MT of paddy from farmers as procurement starts from October 1.
It also approved a proposal for regularisation of jobs of 32 court managers, who have been engaged to assist the district judges in their administrative functions in the State.
Sources said a total of 10 proposals were approved by the State Cabinet today.
