Booster Dose vaccination program for CISF personnel in NTPC at Kaniha

Angul (Kaniha), Jan 15: Booster Dose vaccination program for the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel in the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has been held in the CISF Camp-Office at Kaniha on Saturday. During the occasion, the CISF contingents including the Security Wing, Intelligence (Information) Wing and the Fire Fighters’ Wing, received jabs of the Booster Dose against Covid-19, in order to contain Corona infection in the industrial hub of the NTPC. {"id":159887,"sizeSlug":"full","linkDestination":"none"} CISF, Deputy Commandant(DC), Brij Mohan Singh inaugurated the program  along with the Chief Medical Officer(CMO), NTPC Hospital, Dr Gadabarisha Mohakul, candling the ceremonial lamp. Addressing Team CISF, Singh Said, “The Booster Dose will empower our team to serve better for the nation, with a safety shield against the Novel Corona virus.” CMO, Dr Mohakul Said, CISF at NTPC had battled hard to fight Corona out of the bay from the NTPC campus, at the conjunct of the last year pandemic. However, the Booster Dose, which is being administered today, is a precautionary jab to beat Omicron, Delmicron like variants that trigger the fourth wave of Corona, he added. {"id":159888,"sizeSlug":"full","linkDestination":"none"} After the inaugural session, as many as 233 CISF staffers were vaccinated with the precautionary doses. Paramedical crew of the NTPC Hospital, under the aegis of the hospital administration executed the vaccination program providing with essential logistics. Among others, Reserve Inspector Ashok Kumar Sahu, Sub-Inspector Navratna Prajapat and Information In-Charge, Sub-Inspector Naresh Kumar managed to organize the in-house program meticulously.
