Bolero lifting gang busted in Bhubaneswar, 7 arrested

Bhubaneswar, April 30: Commissionerate police has busted a Bolero lifting gang and arrested seven members of the gang. Police said that the gang was involved in lifting of as many as 21 Boleros which were sold in various areas of Bengal. As per reports, Nayapalli police had arrested one Sk Jumma in connection with a case of motorcycle theft and subsequently found his involvement in lifting of Bolero vehicles. During investigation police found the accused of having a gang which is primarily involved in lifting of Bolero vehicles from various areas of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar. “We also found the gang dismantling several vehicles and selling the spare parts. We have arrested the owner of a transport agency who was involved in selling the stolen vehicles in Bengal. Further investigation is continuing to ascertain involvement of others in the gang,” said a police official.
