Body of missing youth recovered from Tel river in Balangir

Bhawanipatna, May 26: The body of a youth, missing from few days was found from the Tel river in decomposed condition in Balangir district today. The deceased has been identified as Jitu Rana, a resident of Kalahandi district who went missing before four days. Some locals spotted the body of Jitu floating in the river and informed the police subsequently. On being informed the police reached the spot and sent the body post-mortem. Though further investigation is underway, the family of the deceased alleged that Jitu was killed and his body was dumped into the river. As the youth belonged to Kalahandi district and his body was recovered from Balangir district, police of both the districts are investigating the matter.
